HERO works with individuals junior or senior to take them to the next level. Our Performance Programme uses video analysis and has a Technical focus to enable consistent performance in pressured environments such as representative hockey all the way up to international. We have taken several young goalies from club level into the international arena.
What is Performance?
Performance to us means ‘wanting to improve’ and playing at ‘a high level or with aspirations to be playing higher’’. Mens and Ladies 1stXI and 2ndXI Pathway goalies as well as Performance Centre or NAGS. We have worked with many International goalkeepers at Junior and Senior level.
How is Performance different with HERO?
Hero Performance means a strong positive relationship between coach and goalkeeper.
We tailor our training based on the goalkeepers needs or things we identify during the sessions.
Our training is designed to be high intensity and challenging to replicate the fast modern game. Our performance goalkeeper coaches are all very capable at shooting and feeding balls but their insight as high level goalkeepers is actually a requirement to work for Hero.
These sessions include video analysis and are best done in sets of 2-3 sessions for best results.
